Why do LN authors love dragging out silly stories for so many pages? I swear, I felt my intelligence decreasing as I read this
As well, this particular writer is a sleaze pocketbook, the way he writes his male person students is so disgusting.
The showtime volume was fun and witty, but I'k honestly just and so mad that this whole damn book was about some impaired ass example.
The half star I added was for the character development at the terminate, Sudou's and Hori

I'm excited almost the little hint at Ayanokoji's by, but that's overshadowed past my anger at the fourth dimension I wasted.

I plan on standing the series because a friend recommended then strongly, simply I'll probably take a pause from information technology for now

I love these novels!! I enjoyed reading it right from page one. Heck, I fifty-fifty enjoyed reading the acknowledgements section.
Ayanokyoji-kun is as mysterious every bit always. The last chapter made me extremely hungry for some even a tiny bit of noesis about his past (I'm trying actually difficult to restrain myself from googling spoilers). I suppose I merely have to keep reading...
Now I'm off to re-watch the episodes adapted from this volume.

The second volume was a bit boring compared to the get-go 1... Not a large fan of the arc, honestly. I felt like it dragged on too much for a light novel with 217 pages. This was longer than Volume i yet I felt like zero much happened. Perhaps the notable things are Sudou'due south and Sakura's character development and the mystery backside Ayanokouji.

I am excited to see how the story farther progresses from hither on out.

Pretty expert Volume... I like especially how it portrays how Chabashira Sensei has been plotting on making Ayanokuji work for the class and that apparently she was the one who wanted to push Horikita to try to understand him which really wasn't touched on in the anime... As well Ayanokuji uses Horikita as a tool pretty sneakily which as well wasn't shown in the anime... Overall great read

So with the drama of the midterms officially over, Ayanokouji, Horikita, Kushida, and the residue of Class D encounter a new hurdle to overcome:

Sudou, a promising basketball histrion, and well-known hothead is accused of luring three students to a rarely used building and physically assaulting them to the point they sustained serious injuries. Of form, Sudou says he was lured at that place and his violence was merely cocky-defence. So with a archetype he said-they said scenario, and the feasible proof of Sudou

So with the drama of the midterms officially over, Ayanokouji, Horikita, Kushida, and the rest of Course D encounter a new hurdle to overcome:

Sudou, a promising basketball player, and well-known hothead is accused of luring three students to a rarely used building and physically assaulting them to the point they sustained serious injuries. Of course, Sudou says he was lured there and his violence was simply cocky-defence. So with a classic he said-they said scenario, and the viable proof of Sudou beating them upwardly, Ayanokouji and Class D has to find a way to prove Sudou's innocence. That's easier said than washed, especially with Sudou's proven brusque temper and violent history. He's known as a proficient fighter, who isn't i to back down after being provoked in fifty-fifty the slightest of ways.

The story that follows is a mad dash to notice a possible witness to the altercation, a mystery that's revealed to the reader in the first chapter, but left to exist discovered by the class throughout the grade of the novel. We get to meet things through the eyes of a new-ish character: Sakura Airi. Sakura is an extremely shy student, with an air of mystery about her. We know so niggling about her initially, just the more than the story progresses, the more we learn. Her interactions with Ayanokouji reveal quite a bit nigh her and our usual MC. It's always fascinating to meet how Ayanokouji interacts with the others in his form (and those at the school).

Trivial past little, more of his backstory is revealed and you get to peek past his superficial teenage boy thoughts. What'southward revealed is a history of loneliness, sadness and the similar. Merely, that's all I'll say on that front. This story seems to be an ensemble, with a lot of the aforementioned characters getting attention as Ayanokouji tries to shut the distance between himself and others to go real friends with them. With that said, it's clear he doesn't know how to interact socially with others, which makes truly connecting with his classmates that much more difficult. That, in turn, causes creating friendships an uphill job for him.

All the same, watching him tackle the problems of those around him, despite wanting to "avoid trouble" is always interesting. I'thousand curious to see what comes next for Course D after this altercation is cleared upwards. I enjoyed the ride with this ane.

I'm really enjoying this series and so far. I'g enjoying meeting all the new characters and finding out more about the characters already established.

I hope to encounter more of Sakura in the hereafter. I mean, I know nosotros will, but I hope she still plays a overnice role because I found myself identifying with her, since I have Asperger's and deal similarly with how she is.

I notwithstanding don't know my feelings on Kushida, though. I like her sometimes, just then I remember she'due south hiding something, mayhap who she actually is

I'one thousand actually enjoying this serial so far. I'm enjoying meeting all the new characters and finding out more about the characters already established.

I promise to encounter more of Sakura in the hereafter. I mean, I know we volition, but I hope she all the same plays a nice role considering I found myself identifying with her, since I have Asperger's and bargain similarly with how she is.

I still don't know my feelings on Kushida, though. I similar her sometimes, only and so I remember she's hiding something, mayhap who she really is, and that makes me very suspicious of her. It makes me unable to root for her, at least possibly until I discover out what's going on.

I know Horikita volition probably finish up with Ayanokouji, since that'southward unremarkably how anime and manga work, simply I actually similar how Sudou has a thing for her and I think it would exist cool to see those two end upwards instead.

My only problem is sometimes I had a flake of trouble knowing who was talking to who when there were no "so-and-then said" mentioned after someone spoke (or earlier). I hateful, I think I sort of started to figure it out by the end, as I did in the first volume, but I'm afraid it'll be hard to tell once more whenever I pick upwards the side by side volume, depending how much time it is betwixt reads.

Merely I totally recommend this series. I'1000 having a nice time and I'm curious what'south going to happen next for our Class D defects. :)

A solid 4/5 stars. (Besides, at that place are 383 pgs. to the paperback re-create, at least the one I have if you include the author's postscript)
This was a good detective arc for the series. There was some low-cal dorsum-and-forth action that kept me interested, fifty-fifty every bit I began recalling the plot details from the earlier anime. And that catastrophe! Homo, it makes me more anxious to learn more than about each private grapheme (especially Sakura, who I want to root for to become amend at socializing!).

This was a adept detective arc for the series. There was some light back-and-forth activeness that kept me interested, even as I began recalling the plot details from the earlier anime. And that ending! Human being, it makes me more than anxious to learn more nearly each private character (specially Sakura, who I want to root for to get better at socializing!).
That being said, seriously Sudou? This graphic symbol in particular better shape up. I definitely agree with some other readers that this hot-head needs to cool it. I've yet to come across whatever help he brings to the plot or his classmates. He is literally hanging by a thread here...
Well, other than a few grammatical errors besides Sudou, this was an entertaining read, and still recommend this series. Here's to the side by side novel!

So this i was shorter and the story was far less interesting. But damn if the characters didn't overcompensate in every single way.

The main character, Ayanokouji, remains as intriguing every bit e'er and you tin simply guess at why he does the things he does. I tin can say he is singlehandedly carrying the series and then far, but that would exist an understatement.

Watched the anime first made me e'er call back that book's Ayanokouji is out of character. He's non equally stoic as him in the anime it somewhat doesn't feels right.

The plot felt really dull in this book that I have to say the anime really done a great task cutting and changing the plot, though it withal cutting as well much role. And I still hate the mode the boys describe girls. Like... why... is information technology actually necessary?

I liked it, and information technology was a quick, fast read. Simply I can't give information technology 5-stars because every bit piece of cake and quick as it was, information technology spent far too much time on one aspect of the story. I enjoyed the introduction of some new characters and getting to know Class D a flake better also. It is very obvious that there is a set upwardly for further drama in Classroom of the Elite. All in all information technology was a fun volume. I am hoping the next one (few) are at least as entertaining as this one if not more than.

Verdict: Worth looking upward. Oasis't

Equally I have predicted, the master hero is the one with cunning personality. All the same, this book was quite tiresome compared to the first one. A single outcome covered the whole story made information technology look way longer than it was anticipated. On peak of that, cipher that interesting happened during this whole book. It is just a introduction of a new surreal grapheme nothing more. If it goes on by this quality, It will become difficult to keep reading forward.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view information technology, click hither. Was surprised about Horikita's POV switch at the finish. Anyway, this book feels like an introductory role of what the characters can really do, heady.

They represent absolute elites, right? the one'due south facing the media isnt probably the person behind the vision; the one who evades attending is probably the 1 behind most (or all) of the decisions involved.

Interesting series. Interesting indeed.

A fleck slow-paced in the beginning. I got dislocated at times on who'due south POV it was. Took me a moment to realize the POV had suddenly switched to Ayanokouji instead of Sakura. And the POV of Horikita was besides a surprise (but a pleasant ane.)

The plot likewise felt similar information technology was longer than it needed to exist. But I did similar how Ayanokouji has more of a personality at present. I'm still interested in the story (for now at least) so I'm looking forward to reading the tertiary one.
